Crocheted balls necklace with pattern

I started making crochet balls and wasn't sure exactly what I would make with these delicious balls, I used embroidery thread, will share colors and pattern very soon!

Here is the pattern: these balls are crocheted in the round, at the end of each round, do not join with sl st.

R1: begin with a magic circle,  make 7 sc, do not join with sl st  (7 st)
R2: 2 sc in each st (14 st )
R3: sc in the first st, 2 sc in the next st, repeat (21 st)
R4 – R6: sc in each sc around (21 st) at this point you are more than half way done, add some stuffing to your ball.
R7: sc in the first st, 2 sc together in the next st, repeat (14 st)
R8: 2 sc together all the way around, fasten off
You are done!!

WIP Crochet flower trivet with pattern

This weekend I wanted to try something new and this flower trivet was just perfect!
Only two rounds per flower, and the results surprisingly nice! I still need to stitch them together!
The pattern is from this beautiful book Crochet at Home

R1: 11 dc in 4th chain from hook, join with sl st in top of beg ch-3 fasten off first color, do not turn (12 st)

R2: Join second color in any dc, ch 3 (counts as dc) , 4 dc in same st as joining, sl st in top of beg ch-3 to close group, ch 2 (5 dc in next st, sl st in top of beg dc to join ch 2) 11 times, join with sl st in top of beg ch-3, fasten off leaving 12 inches tail for sewing motifs together.

I love the thickness of each flower, perfect for a trivet!

Snowflake Garland with Bargello stitches

This is another PHD (projects half done) that I started 2 years ago! It's a kit from CrossStitcher issue 257 to make a snowflake garland. I always wanted to try some bargello stitches and this little project was just the perfect size!

I haven't decided were to hang it! on the mantle or on the wall?

Crochet top using ripple pattern

This past summer I crocheted Pao a cute top using the
ripple pattern from Lucy's Attic 24 amazing blog. I got the idea from this dress and modified it as a top...less work :). Hope you like it!
