I have been thinking about a flower necklace for quite some time, not really sure which way to go...what do you think? It's quite simple...

Crochet Trivet final reveal

I finally assembled the trivets!! The beautiful flowers had been patiently waiting inside a drawer for too long…These are for my dear friends Misa and Ernesto whom we are visiting Friday and HAD to be ready by then! I  sewed the flowers together, weaved in all loose threads and voila! They are done ! I have permanently removed them  from my PHD (projects half done) list !

R1: 11 dc in 4^th chain from hook, join with sl st in top of beg ch-3 fasten off first color, do not turn (12 st)

R2: Join second color in any dc, ch 3 (counts as dc) , 4 dc in same st as joining, sl st in top of beg ch-3 to close group, ch 2 (5 dc in next st, sl st in top of beg dc to join ch 2) 11 times, join with sl st in top of beg ch-3, fasten off leaving 12 inches tail for sewing motifs together.

Crochet headband Take 2

So easy and fast to make, I had to make a second headband, this one for a coworker's daughter. The yarn was thinner so really no that different than Pao's in terms of number of stitches. Pao's had 60 chains and this one 54 chains.  The link for pattern in yesterday's post.

Crochet Puff Flower Joined and orchid

I joined the 7 puff flowers, first I joined the center flower to the flowers around it, and then single crochet around the whole thing. Wanna see? My dad bought me this beautiful orchid !!

Crochet Trivet Terracota and Green

I made a second trivet this time green and terracota, this Previous link has the pattern. Now I only need to sew them together...easier said than done... :)

Crochet puff flower Take 2

I was disappointed with my first puff flower attempt. The back of the flower was not quite right, and when adding the row of double crochets it didn't have an hexagon shape. I went back to Cherry Heart daisy-puffagon-tutorial and gave it another try...and voila

I finally got it...

Cherries for Cherry - crochet cherry brooch

Cherry is the sweetest lady at my office, always with a smile on her face, and the greatest disposition, she is an inspiration..for me and many others...I made this brooch in her honor..

For the back I glued 2 small pieces of felt to make it firmer.

Crochet Four leaf clover

Pao's teacher' s parents are from Ireland, I found this easy four leaf clover pattern and HAD to give it a try. Hope miss Clarke likes it as much as I do!
